From a young age, Will had been interested in the automotive field. In his sophomore year of high school, he took Automotive Technology at Hamilton Career Center. It stuck with him, but before he fully committed to automotive, he also took Building Construction. Will thought he might want to do that, but after taking his second year of Automotive Technology, he knew the automotive repair field was for him. During his senior year of high school, he went to the SC Automotive All Star Competition and placed first in the state. Winning this contest provided him the money for the Automotive Program and tools that helped him start his career. Later that same year, he started a co-op at Edward’s Ford and continue to work there. Will has proven himself at Edward’s Ford and they are sponsoring him as he attends Spartanburg Community College in the Ford ASSET Program.
